Wet Head Roofbolters
"Wet Head" roofbolters may be used to drill the roof, either wet or dry. The roofbolter has an operator-controlled water valve. Grooved auger water steels or hex steels may be used to drill wet. Auger steels may be used to drill dry.
Dust Collection Head Roofbolters
Dust Collection Heads are designed to attach to the MPI Dust Collection System. This System is a pneumatic vacuum that sits in-line with the roofbolter, collecting the rock fines from the hole being drilled. Hex steels are recommended when using the Dust Collection Head.
